How do you get Nigerian tender alerts on WhatsApp?
Most Nigerian contractors already live on WhatsApp: a 2025 study by Orange Group and KPMG found WhatsApp installed on 95% of the smartphones it surveyed across 12 Nigerian cities (BrandSpur). Getting tenders there means you see them where you already look, instead of checking dozens of websites.
How TendaRadar's alerts work
- Sign up with your WhatsApp number. We send a code to it to confirm it's yours.
- Choose your trades and states. Construction, ICT, medical, cleaning, security and so on, and the states you can work in. You can add words to look for (for example "borehole") or to skip.
- We check every new tender against them. TendaRadar reads federal, state, donor, oil and gas, and newspaper-advert sources every day. The sources page shows each one and when we last checked it.
- Matching tenders reach you on WhatsApp. Each one shows the title, the buyer and state, the value when it's known, the closing date and a link to the original advert.
A morning summary, and instant alerts for big jobs
New tenders that match your alerts arrive together in one WhatsApp message each morning. On the Professional and Business plans you can also set a contract value: tenders above it are sent the moment they're found, instead of waiting for the morning. You can change your trades, states, words and value at any time from your account, and reply STOP to pause alerts.
What each plan covers
- Starter: Nigerian government and newspaper tenders, one alert of up to three trades.
- Professional: adds international and donor tenders (UN, World Bank and others), instant alerts for big jobs and one colleague.
- Business: every source, including oil and gas, plus eligibility checklists and five colleagues.

Try it on the open tenders now
Before signing up, you can browse the open tenders, or look at your trade: construction, ICT, medical, or your state, such as Lagos or Abuja (FCT). How it works shows a sample alert.
